What is the DAO Global Hackathon?
The DAO Global Hackathon is a virtual sprint to build governance primitives, sponsored by leading DAO Infrastructure providers. Resolve technical limitations of the existing DAO tooling (Hackathon Part 1) and be free to build the next frontier of coordination primitives (Hackathon Part 2).
A combined prize pool in value of +$100k will be distributed among selected winners across track.

Who can participate?
Anyone from anywhere in the world can participate. The goal is to open up DAO Technology to all communities around the world.
How much does it cost to attend?
Nothing, the event is free.
How many people can be on a team?
Teams can be between 1 - 5 members. Join the DAO Global Hackathon Discord Channel to find team members!
What if I've never been to a hackathon before?
No worries! It’s helpful to have some software engineering experience, but it’s not a requirement. Projects often need designers, front-end engineers, project managers, and more. We will also have Key notes, technical talks, workshops, and mentors to help you with your project. This is a great place to learn about DAO technology.
When can I start working on the bounties or my project?
As soon as the separate tracks open, Bounties on the October 25th & Projects in the open lane on the November 12th. This will keep the playing field level and fair for all participants.
How will this event take place?
This will be a fully virtual event, chats through Discord and workshops through Video Platform tools.
