What is the Degen VC ecosystem and model?
Degen VC's ecosystem now includes six innovative projects. The technologies range from a trading protocols, to NFT markets, to store of value innovations. Degen VC launches projects with three steps: 1. A uniswap market is created for the new project; 2. Part of the tokens supply is Alphadropped (airdropped) to wallets that hold our $DGVC UNI-V2 LP tokens in proportion to their share of the LP; and 3. A Liquid Vault is capitalized with project tokens to incentivise early liquidity.

Why does Degen VC use this approach?
This model achieves quintessential curation. It solves the problems of token sales. In our model, the project does not sell tokens to “investors” at all; it swaps tokens for ETH on Uniswap. Projects no longer need VC’s money to launch and VCs only remain relevant to the extent that credentialing remains relevant.
What is Degen VC’s vision?
We see a fourth step in our model in the near future: Gitcoin issues / bounties funded with Liquid Vault ETH revenues and project tokens. In fact, we will test this model with one project idea during the hackathon. We see the entire Degen VC model running autonomously. Once achieved this will be the zenith for democratized venture finance. Due to the hypercompetitiveness of the alphadrop (no competitor can offer better than free) and its autonomous model Degen VC will be an unstoppable decentralized apex organisation.
Our vision is that the DGVC token becomes an asset that offers exposure to global venture finance for everyone equally. We want to see everyone, from the biggest fund to the smallest individual allocating to it on exactly the same terms.
