Open DeFi DAO is excited to be hosting their next hackathon, bringing together developer communities from our extensive member network to connect and grow the DeFi ecosystem. The event will run for 3 weeks and conclude with a summit & demo day.

Inspired by the remarkable engagement of our first virtual hackathon, Open DeFi has brought another Hackathon in Collaboration with Gitcoin for blockchain enthusiasts and developers who can build great solutions and win deserving rewards. Our first virtual hackathon was a great success with 950+ developers’ participation, where we offered a pool prize of $250,000+ across 40 bounties!

To have another notable and even more impactful hack fest round, Open DeFi and Gitcoin partner to host a Quarterly Hackathon focused on DeFi with immense Sponsorship Benefits and Marketing Opportunities. Open DeFi took this initiative to bring together enthusiastic developers from diverse backgrounds to connect and contribute to the evolving DeFi ecosystem collectively.

DeFi protocols, blockchain networks, and industry leaders who support this vision of growing the DeFi ecosystem, will be sponsoring prizes for builders working on innovative ideas. The Open DeFi hackathon provides a platform to learn from multiple Web3 communities, and showcase and promote your products to a large audience.

 

What’s Open DeFi?

Our Mission - Open DeFi is a permissionless incubation DAO, generating long-term value by building and launching early-stage financial protocols, applications, tools, and infrastructure that support Open DeFi’s vision of a cross-chain DeFi ecosystem. The DAO will support and launch projects across all layer one ecosystems and explore DeFi markets surrounding new digital asset classes, including NFTs, data tokens and more.
