[$3000 ZEC] Protect Privacy with Shielded Zcashzcashprivacy, zcash, mobile## Prize Title Protect Privacy with Shielded Zcash ## Challenge Description Privacy is singing in the shower. It’s a secret note between friends. It’s your most embarrassing ambitions and your most radical, audacious ideas. Some experiences are only possible with privacy and that makes privacy worth protecting. Build an application that uses Shielded Zcash. This application could build off of existing libraries such as our mobile wallet SDKs or you could use shielded transactions in a completely new way! Submissions should add a useful feature or functionality to the Zcash ecosystem, making shielded transactions more accessible and user friendly. You might build shielded support for your favorite wallet or come up with a messaging application using shielded memo fields. You could build a shielded merch store to buy and sell Zcash swag. Maybe you’ve got an original approach integrating shielded Zcash to MetaMask. You might even have a fun idea for a game. Whatever your concept, we encourage you to have fun, get creative and ask plenty of questions along the way. ## Submission Requirements - The project must be open source - Shielded Zcash transactions must be a fundamental element of the application. - The app must do something that is useful and interesting. - The app will score better if it has greater appeal to a wider audience - Each submission must have the following components - Project summary (video preferred, presentation deck, written report) - Product brief (includes wireframes, prototypes, and/or production code) - Team Bio Example apps and ideas which would qualify for prizes: [ZECPages](https://zecpages.com/), [ZBay](https://github.com/ZbayApp/zbay) ## Submission Deadline July 6th Midnight EST, Winners Announced: July 7th ## Judging Criteria Execution (working submission, MVP product, code quality) - **30** Use of shielded Zcash (how does the submission incorporate shielded Zcash) - **30** Originality of product (Is this totally new? or an iteration of an existing product) - **25** Impact (How many people does your project bring meaningful privacy to?) - **10** Presentation (clarity of project summary and product brief) - **5** ## Bounty - **1 Grand Prize**: $2,000 - **2 Runner Up**: $500 - **Most creative**: a pair of Zneakers - **Rookie of the year**: Zcash Swag bag - **Community’s Choice**: voted on by the Zcash forum On top of all that, all entrants who produce substantially interesting submissions will win a consolation prize of $50.
