### Challenge Description
Aave is glad to support Gitcoin for this challenge, Hackers are invited to express their creativity to leverage the Aave protocol at the service of the Gitcoin Ecosystem.
Aave protocol has many features for this challenge: Interest Redirection, ever-increasing balance nature of aTokens, you are invited to find and exploit synergies opportunities between our Money Market & Gitcoin.
#### Features expected
Challenger applicants are free to provide their vision and ideas to fulfill this challenge. Aave is happy to provide an idea to guide them :
**Gitcoin Grants support**
Aave protocol introduced the concept of native interest redirection without the need to lock tokens or wrapping them into another layer of ERC20, with this feature, any Aave user can decide the beneficiary recipient or his interest earned with the protocol and remains in full control of his funds at any time.
We believe this feature will be key in the emerging "no-loss no lock" ecosystem, enabling seamless donations and contributions to projects.
Using this feature at the service of the Gitcoin Grants system, Hackers can get inspired by projects such as [GiveTogether](https://givetogether.app) to create a no-loss curated donation network for The ecosystem projects of the Gitcoin fam.

We will also provide assistance and advice to all applicants in the official [Aave discord](https://discord.gg/36sR272).

#### Submission Requirements:
Must have an open-source license.
Must use the Aave protocol and be targeted at improving the Gitcoin platform.
**Ideal submission**
An ideal submission for this challenge is both providing a user-friendly UX/UI and capable to generate an added value for both Aave and Gitcoin users
.
This challenge is a great opportunity to kick-start a project. Leveraging on Aave features, user-base and using the Gitcoin ecosystem as a go-to-market opportunity the ideal hacking team will use the great project delivered during the hackathon to create a curation and donation network for the ecosystem.

Submission deadline is at the end of the Hackathon on 27th May 11:59 pm ET

Usefulness of the submission (15%)
Innovation provided by the submission (10%)
Level of technical implementation (15%)
UI/UX of the implementation (10%)

#### Judging Date
Judging will be at the end of the Hackathon on 27th May 11:59 pm ET
### Winner Announcement Date
The submission will be reviewed between May 27th and May June 2nd. Winners will be privately notified before a public announcement of all hackathon prices given by Aave. The announcement and prize payouts will occur before June 3rd, 2020.
