Ethereum Lite Explorer and EthStats in the Wild
alethio
Alethio, open-source, documentation, lite-explorer, ethstats
## Prize Title
**Ethereum Lite Explorer and EthStats in the Wild**
## Challenge Description
The Ethereum Lite Explorer by Alethio is a client only block explorer for Ethereum based blockchains. All it needs to function is an RPC enabled client node (Parity, Geth, Pantheon, Nethereum, etc.)
Example deployment: https://lite-explorer.aleth.io
EthStats (also by Alethio :P) is a deployable Ethereum network health monitor and statistics platform.
Example deployment: https://net.ethstats.io
We would like you to create a tutorial/getting started guide on how to deploy a private chain (testnet/dev chain) using your favorite Ethereum client, along with configuring EthStats and the Lite Explorer for your deployed chain and nodes.
## Submission Requirements
This guide should cover the setup process documentation on how to spin up and run all the relevant components for your deployment scenario (bootnodes, nodes, EthStats, Lite Explorer). The content should be formatted using GitHub flavoured Markdown.
Since a guide for Pantheon already exists, ideally your scenario would use one of the other Ethereum client nodes. The more details and the easier it is to follow, the better.
Here's the example guide from PegaSys: https://docs.pantheon.pegasys.tech/en/stable/Tutorials/Private-Network-Quickstart/
## Submission Deadline
April 30, 2019
## Judging Criteria
Judges will consist of members of the Alethio team who will determine the 1st place and 2nd place winners based on the rules and guidelines of the Ethereal hackathon. The winners will be announced during the Ethereal conference.
## Judging Date
May 1 - May 9, 2019
## Bounty
**1st Place**: 200 DAI
**2nd Place**: 100 DAI
